Congrats on a good day. I've seen that anchor, wind should NOT be a factor, getting on plane should, but not wind. LOL Congrats again.

Launched around 1045 am Hum! what to do Crappie or Shellcrackers? We elected to try the Shellies and they were there in droves. We tied on Tnhookers patented drop shot rig towing night crawler pieces and for the next 2 hours caught fish every cast. Aside from our targeted species we had visits from catfish, bream, bass, whitebass, stripe, and yellow bass and crappie. Finally we left and went downriver to a spot sailfish had caught some boat paddle blacks the day before. They were there but with the current going down and wind going up it was more work than place. My back got a workout with the 30lb railroad anchor I had for sure. Total for the day was 24 crackers 10 Crappie, 5 largemouth one 4lber, 5 whitebass,1 catfish 50 bream and a bunch of stripe and yellow bass. Great to be out only seen 3 other boats. Crackers and Crappie kept. All others released. Pix to come later.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Looks like a great day of fishing.
I have a question. What's the difference between Shell Crackers and Bream?
