    Default Middle Tennessee

I'm not seeing a lot of reports from down my way. I've been lucky to have some time to go this week. I've stayed on Woods just cuz it's close. Though I don't have pics of buckets full of fish I have had a couple of good trips and caught enough to stink up a skillet pretty good. Haven't found any large concentration of fish, couple here and a few over there. The wind has not been too bad with glassy conditions from time to time making boat control a non-issue. Find the waypoint, throw the marker, and back off and have fun. Big fish have been just over a pound and some throwbacks but not like it was a couple of years back. The stripe even cooperated by barely showing their face in all but one spot near the bridge that we all know to avoid. Gloves and insulation has been standard for the early starts but it doesn't last long, and the fall color is coming on more every day. Do you think it sounds like I've enjoyed myself? I hope so, cause I really have......Skeet.

Beautiful pictures. Glad you had a good time. The water looked so peaceful and calm.

Nice pics! The older I get the more I realize that October is my favorite month weather wise. If I am lucky enough to ever make it to retirement healthy the fish better look out in the fall.

It's always good to enjoy whatever you happen to be doing, like they say a bad day fishing is mo' better than a good day working. Nice pics too. Everytime I've been out lately, that 5-8mph breeze finds me and turns into 15+mph, but at least I can get out and get back without getting wet.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
