    Default Merdock "Kicking" Chickamauga Crappie

We blasted off at around sunrise this morning. Me, Jerry and Merdock. Merdock was visiting and taking lessons from Jerry this morning (Mr. 3 lb'er).

The first stop was not as productive as we would have liked it to be...so we moved on to our number 2 spot and the rest is history. We caught 31 Crappie with 24 keepers.

Then the wind picked up and just about ran us off the river. We are back at fish camp filleting fish and laying back.

The water temp. was 65*. We used BGBS on 1/32 oz and 1/16 oz jigs. The popular color of the day was Mo Glo Ghastly Minnow. Most of the better Crappie came off bluffs.

The man knows how to catch 'em for sure. Good guy too.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
