Didn't get time before the storms came through yesterday and wondered if the fish would be shut down today, but I didn't have to worry. Woods is 10 miles from my house so when time is short it's the best bet for me. I don't like working out of town all week and not spending time with the wife so the trips are usually 4 hrs or less. Today went 4 hours. From the time I arrived til I left I was on fish and left em biting. I haven't had a day like this in a very long time. I caught a Bass, 2 Kitty's, several 'crackers, more stripe than I could count and even a warmouth. And of course - Crappie. Lots of Crappie. I'm not going to state a number because without pics there would be no proof. Suffice to say that I would have eaten well with anyone I cared to invite. Pulled cranks in the wind by myself with 6 rods and considered taking some in but what fun would that be. The only pic is of the big one of the day, just shy of 15" and 1lb 9oz, and I lost his cousin that was close to the same size a few minutes earlier at the transom. I can't express how lucky I feel. Out standing! Could use a few of those in a couple of weeks. You haven't got a secret fish farm somewhere in that lake, have you ? I know better, that's just good fishing skill on display.
Nice Tim. Might be headed that way this weekend and see what is going on over there.
Nice one Tim. Need to go back to videoing so we can watch some these catches again. I enjoy watching em.
Awesome day dude!
