Thread: Tim's 4-26

Fished a tournament Saturday at Tim's with very little to show. 1 keeper crappie that lost to only 1 other of 3 crappie brought into the scales. Lost by.02 ounce. That seems to happen a lot to me. . Went up river to fish spots I know hold crappie. Caught 3 all day and 2 were dinks. dinks were caught in brush on bg jigs and keepr was caught 12 ft down in 28 ft of water on minnow. There were more there suspended but could not get them to bite. Went to a shallow spawning ground I know up that way and found nothing. We did manage to catch 8 undersize bass. Not a whole lot of fish brought to the scales. Was a really nice sunny day.

Ouch - that was close. Hopefully they will get on a more consistent pattern soon. I know they seem to be fairly deep on the "Chick" now but we caught some shallow on crankbaits bass fishing yesterday. Thanks for the Tims report.
