Sounds like a great day. Do you know what the water temp was?

Me and a buddy of mine went to the big sandy today and we caught our two man limit. Almost every fish we caught were white females and they had either already let loose of their eggs or they were oozing them out when we caught them. We caught most of our fish in 8 fow but the best fish we caught were in 16-22. They were hitting blue/chart or electric chicken the most, they also had a hankering for gold/chart. Had a ball.

What are you calling your best fish? Most of what I'm seeing are 10.5 and 11 in fish with the occasional 14 or 15.

Glad y'all had a good day, me and my brother are first timers at this lake, we're staying at mansard island resort, having a hard time finding fish, fished swamp creek with not much luck, can anyone help us out as to where in big sandy to go. Its our last day tomorrow and would love to get a couple limits. We're trolling with minnows.
Caught some dandys this past Monday in 10-12 fow. Jigs. Pink/chartreuse, blue/white. Slow spidering.

We caught most of ours way down big sandy between new hope and country junction. That's where I would go.
