    Not to dredge up an old thread... however we were just at Reelfoot this last week... the damn carp are as bad as ever.

    We seen a TON of them jumping...

    We had a 35-40 pounder land in our jon boat as we were going across the lake, it hit my wife and bruised the hell out of her back and side. Not to mention the mess they make of your boat... we had blood, slime and carp sh!t covering everything including us... I pulled out my knife and ripped a big old hole in it's belly and tossed him back in the lake. We had to pull in up at Champy's boat launch and wash down everything or the whole boat would have stunk to high heaven all day in the heat.
