Anyone pullin cranks yet??
Just wondering if anyone is pullin crankbaits yet along Ky lake, the water is warming but slowly. Thinking about trying it tommorrow, and might get the wife out. or should I still be spider rigging/stakebed fishing.

I pulled some earlier in the week and didn't do near as good as I would once it warms some more. Nothing was working for me that day so I figured I had nothing to lose. 2 keepers and a lot of shorts, and I changed to something else. Where I am and where I have since found the fish I would be hung in the stumps and such, and pulling 300's wouldn't be and option, maybe 100's.

Got my limit yesterday on Chickamauga pulling 300's in about 20" of water. Water temp was 60 degrees. All smaller females. I'm not sure if the big ones are still holding deep or have gone shallow. Going to try running some 100's shallow tomorrow.

I saw that the other day were a guide was saying they were pullin cranks and catching fish and I was thinking the same thing that it was a little early for that. I pulled for about an hour on saturday before I went home just to see, and did not catch a fish. But when the water warms it will be on.
