Now is long line trolling the same as pulling bobbers? Thanks!

As a general rule no, size of line (6/8/10#), size of jig and lure, and speed determine the depth the bait will run, all three can be mixed and matched depending on preferences and conditions. Throw the lure a good cast out the back, and run you speed, adjust the speed to raise or lower the lure in the water column.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Well Sat. 4-12 was another good day on JPP. Finished the day with 2 limits (60).
Thanks "jimp" for explanation on the long line troll, said it better I could. To add a point depending on the speed they want to bite you can shorten the cast and slow the speed to adjust to find what the fish want. Once you figure all the variables you can get real busy at times. It may sound funny to some, but a wise man once told me " If you listen to the fish they will tell you what to do".
