I gotta work a double tonight and get off at 5 in the morning. Just enough time to shower, eat breakfast, hook up the boat, and head on out. Will probably be casting in the stems early morning then might head out to the lower blue and let out the spider rig. Anyone else gonna be out there?

Sounds like a good plan. If y'all get time post something on this thread and let me know how y'all are doing so I can change if need be. I'll do the same. Tight lines fellas.

Well it wasn't a good day for me either, battery charger didn't charge my battery fully got to use it for a few hours before depth finder shut off soon after trolling motor stopped had to pull start big motor when I got ready to leave. I ended up with five pretty good fish and missed prolly as many but it was a awesome afternoon on the water. Haven't seen that many boats on the foot in a while, did see a few boats catching fish around where I was nw of the gaggle of boats in the middle of the lake.
Wow looks like we all had a bad start to our day. I didn't get my boat wet till 11 cause I had motor problems. Finally got it figured out so I could at least fish today and headed out of Kirby. No luck in the pad stems, but when I got in buck basin I let em have it. Double minnow rigs literally dragging them on bottom in 6 fow or so and I picked up 10 in that last hr and a half. Had a blast though!
I jigged the trees yesterday. No luck. I did pick up a couple of males dragging across some open water. I'm surprised there are not some males on the trees yet.
