Tellico 3/6/14

Even though I was told by several people that Douglas was on fire I stuck close to the house and fished Tellico. I went to a place that I don't fish that often and started picking up nice fish about as soon as I got there. They were suspended 4-6 ft deep in 8-12 fow and liked blue and white flies tipped with a minnow. I put 11 nice keepers in the boat before I ran out of minnows but, I lost some really nice fish right at the boat and I should have had an easy limit. I'm not sure why I keep loosing fish and I've not changed any of my equipment. Some will make it all the way to the boat and I'm about to lip them before pulling off. It gets aggravating.

The water temp was 46.7 and slightly stained.
