Started the day around 1:30 til dark. Water temp was 48ish we fished 15-20 fow for the first couple of hours an managed one keeper an a boat load of dinks. After figuring the large school we had found was not going to give up any large fish (and the wind attempted to blow us away) we moved to the deeper water. The fish bite was slower but the fish were much larger. The bait of choice was minnows an electric chicken, an monkey milk. All in all a good first trip of the year. Totals 50+- dinks an 7 crappie and 2 catfish
