    Default Ky Lake Big Sandy Report


    3/01/2014 Ky Lake water temp was 40.7, stained and no wind. Caught 45 with a limit, best baits are blue/white southern pro jigs and orange/chart southern pro jigs. All were tipped with a small minnow! Best depths are sharp ledges at 13' with baits on the bottom. A little reminder while on the water (Green/white) Ranger Boat from KY with 3 people!!!! Have a little boat “Etiquette” Next time please watch where your going and don’t run over someone’s marker! PLEASE Name: 3012014.jpg Views: 516 Size: 66.2 KB

    Thanks for the report. I'll be headed that way next weekend for my first trip of the year. We have a cabin in the Buchanan Resort area, but we haven't opened it up for the year yet. Can't wait to get on the water.

    WOW forecast for friday is awesome. Winds calm to 1-2 mph. You don't see that very often. I hope the fish will cooperate.
