Did not know there were "parts unknown" to you and the chick. Bet those big fish were fun on the crappie rods. Weather was decent yesterday, not so much today or tomorrow, but we do live in E TN. Nice report

In the frustration of finding any quality fish. TnHooker and I traveled to parts unknown today. Started trolling in 25 to 12ft of water. Marked decent schools of fish but no takers. Except for 4 monsters. The first was a 20lb drum, the next 25LB BLUE CAT, next to arrive was a 20 buffalo and last the monster of the day 20-30lb drum. Later in the day we found a few dinks but nothing to crow about. It's got to start soon the dafodils are out.

GO BIG ORANGE !
I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
What a mixed bag of fish! As the water clears up the fish will be turning on a little better. I have been hearing reports of crappie being caught off banks in 3 foot of water this past week. Maybe something to check out? Good luck while you scout and fish.![]()
Life is good. Fishing is better.
Thanks for the report. It will be a week before i can give i a try agin. Maybe by then they will start hitting good
TennCrappie, I hope you find those crappie soon, I'll be down to see you in about 3 1/2 weeks to shake off the nasty Ohio weather and get some slabs in the boat.
Mike
Great report. Those monsters must have put up a good fight. That's always fun.
