I'm not gonna advise you at all. But I will say that more than likely you will hit at least one stump and doesn't matter where you are at (deeper part of the lake or not). Like tommyboy said there are a lot of stumps with rebar sticking out of the top of them. Some of those rebars may be slightly under the surface. Them duck hunters run over them in the dark (me included) and they get bent over and then the water raises up over them. I've had one come all the way through the floor of my boat. Like I said no advise here,I just want you to know what you are getting in to. Goodluck
