Default Ice.... The one thing worse than wind

I'm about ready to drop some hand grenades on this ice and open up some fishing spots.

I was easing through some loose ice sheets and well......... aluminum props don't do well with ice.

Then I left the minnow bucket out of the water for 10 minutes and it froze over and the water turned to slush.

Ball Play has been frozen over for a WHILE now and now sections of the main channel in DEEP water are frozen over.

But, if there's a silver lining to not being able to crappie fish..... I have time to work on the hogs that have been tearing up my corn fields.

Hate the prop got bent up. Send it to Performance Propeller in Soddy Daisy. They can make it new again.

    Big hog!

Been wondering how a prop would hold up with ice? Guess you answered that one for me.

The ice wasn't even that thick and I was only idling . I assume that it just all came out from under the boat at one time.
