Shoot fishing should be hot on the lower end with these temps. Last time I fished there it was 12 degrees that am and warmed up to 15 degrees. We put a hurting on the fish. But had to let the baits sit dead still to get them to touch that minnow. If we were moving at all it was not working. Took us 2 hours to fish the 50 yard line on the south end. But put around 40 fish in the boat within that time. But fisherman around us was not catching a fish.![]()
Ive caught some of my biggest fish in february in the lower blue so when this artic front passes and the lake thaws out its on. Slab you still should be able to catch em first of may.
