Default Chickamauga Rolling on the river Crappie

We blasted off at 9:00 am and fished until 2:00 pm. No crash helmets. The river was rolling.

Stopped at several regular areas. Not much caught. We traveled to some old haunts and caught several keepers at each one. The best color of the day was BGBS Monkey Milk.

At one area Jerry got upset over catching a Catfish! Turned out to be the fish of the day! A 13" Crappie. Sure did put up a good fight.

We got back to the shop to fillet the keeper Crappie and listened to the flop. As you gamblers know what the flop is...when you cut through the fish and then get ready to cut the fillet off the skin side that sound is the flop.

    The water temp. was 45*-46*

Another nice catch. Good job. Never heard of the flop for a crappie. Goes to show how many I fillet out.
