Smile Douglas is "on like donkey kong"

I've never seen them bite like they are right now on Douglas. You can go back in ANY pocket, creek, or bay and catch the fire out of them in 1-5 ft. of water under floats or tight lining. I caught about 40 today and had my limit and was off the water in about 2-1/2 hours.

10"-11" for the keepers. Tons of 9-3/4".

I love Douglas, and have been dying to get down there and fish. I am a teacher so it will be the weekend before I can make it and the cold front will probably slow them down. Thanks for the report, I wonder where the 13" and up crappie are? There are several in there.

Went to Indian Creek saturday. About 1:00, my partner said "we better count our fish " .He had 20 and i had 22. Culled out the small ones to get down to the limit. Stayed until 7:00 and probably had close to four limits that we could have kept. Like you said Eddie...it's on!
