    How is the fishing at foot? Are the fish trying to move shallow? What's the water temperature? The jig fishing on yet? Thanks

    I haven't been down there in a week,but when I was there it was hot and heavy. They were still in the 10-12ft depth and right on the bottom. I have been hearing some reports from buddies that they are still tearing them up. The best bait when I was there was a jig head tipped with minnow(no skirt).This was outcatching skirted jigs with minnows and the double minnow rigs.

    I fished the foot today ended with 24 keepers. I fished the mouth of chappys pocket in 7 to 7.5 ft of water bout 6.5 ft down. Caught most on lake fork electric chicken tipped with a minnow with a char. head. Also caught a few on pink head and char. body. when I left today the water temp was 59.8 hope this helps.

    Yes I was trolling. I was just bumping the trolling motor to keep the bait moving a little, they seemed to hit better when i would swing the front of the boat. For sure on the fry wish I could figure out how to put pics on here maybe one day.
