    Default Good Friday was pretty good!


    Caught these on Good Friday. Fished along the bluffs. The fish came from about 8-10ft chasing either a chartruese fly or, what my son calls, a red velvet fly with a minnow.

    Nice mess man, when you say chartruese fly, do you mean like a fly lure on a fly fishing rod?, I've always wondered that to try to save money from worms. Like, can you fish with a "fly" lure with a slip-bobber,like you would fishing with a "fly" lure on a fly-fishing rod....

    Thanks...They were delicious as always! We were on Douglas Lake...guess that might be important. Digihax...We were usig jigs (I've always called them flies). I guess you could fish them from a fly fishing rod...never tried it but would probably work.
