Default Wake up and smell the roses

    How bout azaleas and crappies?

Water temp up 10 degrees since last Tuesday. Surface temp Wed was about 74 degrees. Could not find fish in the shallows in my area, however we found them in 8-12 FOW. The fish were smaller than last week and were concentrated in certain areas. They all eat good. We kept a few for supper and released the rest. It sure has been a strange spawn. The fishes will never make it to my front yard. Spawn will be over before the water rises.

I have coffeee with this azalea in the mornings and the start sneezing.

We could smell the strong scent of fish, but I bet it is the bream, bass, and crappie. Real strong in the afternoon with a s/w breeze. Hopefully, TVA will start the water upswing on time (1 April).

When you plan on going? Things are changing daily at the lake. I am home now, but I will be going back to lake Sunday afternoon. I will be there a couple days. I can only tell you where I am that particular day. It might not apply the next.

Wow. 74 degrees. Guess KY lake is where I need to start next spring. The highest I've seen on Old Hickory so far is 65.

Nice fish Tom, good way to start the day. Always liked sitting in the woods about an hour before sunrise and watching the woods come to life. It's about all I miss of Deer hunting. And the chile.
