    Default Norris Lake Today

Crappie are biting on Norris but its slow bite there holding very close to timber. any limbs or trees you can find if your more than 6 inches off of it your to far. Seen alot of guys trolling today the lake was loading it was about 60 to 40 rockfish to walleye I've talked to about 4 or 5 old timers that do nothing but troll and they have all told me there been biting pretty good fishing about 30 foot deep with spinners or deep diving plugs slow. Rockfish were being caught with plugs and planner boards and chubs and anywhere you found the sea gulls diving with top water baits in the late day or early morning. we caught about 5 Bass today even though we were not fishing for them. Another friend of mind said he caught a good load yesterday with plugs on wind blown points, Bandits Fat Free Shads. Just passing it on if anyone is fishing Norris This is one of the Crappie we caught today

Good job youngman. Keep at it. Weather looks bad the next few days but it will get better.

Good to see you back on the water. Hope to be able to fish with you some day.

    Very nice!
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

I know last fishing report I heard it was picking up. I just got through last night dumping another load of boo out. Gonna probly start trying to get some slabs in the next week or two. I havent tried down below the house at all though yet(Cove Creek) but I have a few spots that looked good.
