Great job on the fish boys!!
Thx fellas. We will keep reporting. And lol @ leasing my boy. Im looking for some way of early retirement anyhow.
Chase and I were headed to the ramp today at Toqua when my old truck started acting up. Had to bring it back to the camper and get ready for my little girls birthday party and fish fry. ;)
Probably best anyhow feels like it's 105 outside.
Will have to try in the AM. Report will follow.
Greg/Chase
That's a nice catch and good photo of you guys. Chase's smile says it all.Thumbs Up
Gkidd ... are there ANY marinas on Ft Loudoun Lake, that have cabins/motel rooms to stay in ?? All my research has come up with "zero" !!
Can't very well convince my fishing partners to consider it, if we'd have to stay somewhere miles away from the lake. Doh
Campgrounds won't cut it, as we're all geezers that are used to the accommodations of a cabin or motel room (kitchen/TV/AC/heat/real beds) Rofl
... cp
Great job, Gkidd....both of catching and teaching. Its good to see a young one
"hooked" for life !
Cpap....I don't know of any marina that has cabins on Loudon...but will do a bit
of research for a recommended place to stay up here. In the meantime, I'm off to
Watts Bar and the Chick(tonight) to see if there are any wayward slabs that need
frying!
great catch again! I know your son loves the attention, it adds that much more to his fishing trips.
CP,
Not sure of cabins but McGee Tyson Airport is right near the river (Fort Loudon). There are plenty of hotels in Maryville/Alcoa near the airport. From there you can be on Loudon in under 15mins. They are not on the water mind you, but there are plenty of places to eat close by.
Thx fellas. He reads this forum with me pretty much every evening. ;)
