    When trolling at Reelfoot what is your preferred jig head size?

    1/4, 1/8 , 1/16, 1/32 or what????

    I use 1/16oz. when I troll.

    It depends on the wind for me. If the wind is blowing I will use a 1/16 or maybe a 1/8. If its not blowing I will use a 1/16 and now and then I will use a 1/32.

    Do you guys spider rig these? What kind of weight do you add if any? What kind of speed are you moving? Are ya'll pushing/long lining these small jigs? I'm new to the crappie fishin, I have a tough time keeping lines as vertical as I like them using this light of jig?

    i use 1/2 ounce double minnow rigs, and put solid body skirts on the hooks, under .5 mph pushin out the front, no pullin at reelfoot
    I clever quip fishing ironic statement crappie!
