    Default Where's the switch?

As is normal for me, got on the water shortly after the sun yesterday. Took the fish a few minutes to wake up, but the action improved nicely. I started tying my own a short while back and use them almost all the time, unless I get into some places that are extra grabby. Caught 4 keepers at my first stop and as boat traffic increases the action decreases. so off to stop 2. A dropoff in fairly deep water I expected to turn a fish or two, but no luck there. TM to stop 3 and boat a few more, then they slowed down, then there was none that didn't classify as tater chips, then nothing. This was just about 9am. From then till 11am when I pulled and headed home I only saw 1 other fish and it wasn't in my boat. It was like someone threw a switch and away they went. Finished the day with 9 keepers and a nice LMB. I sure wish I could find that switch and turn it back on from time to time. Beautiful day on the water and a big smile just the same. Gray and tinsel accounted for all but 2 of the keepers, black n chartreuse for the others. This time last year it was super cold and you couldn't get warm. Yesterday I was glad I had room in the hatches cuz I had to come out of some of those layers. Tight lines Y'all.

Switch back on. I got to Woods at 1:30 pm and stayed until dark. Had 11 keepers and several dinks. Fishing with Assanins in 24 FOW. Bite was steady but not frantic. I had left my power swich on so I had to jump my boat off. Only fished in 1 spot and I think that it was on someone's boo. Easy to find on the 798.
