This game should have never came to the blocked field goal to start with. I commend Tn for a great game. However Alabama's play calling is the only real thing that put this game in jeapordy. Tn did not stop Ingram. Alabama did not utilize him when they should have. They had been running the ball all the way down the field and with 2 yards to go they throw 2 stupid pass plays. Would have been an easy touchdown. Also there were other times when they would run the ball and be doing well and then call a stupid play. I have to say Bama blew the play calling in this game and Tn done a better coaching job. Another thing is, I think when Bama got up by that last field goal, they went into that old crazy Alabama mode of dull we got this in the bag kind of play. It almost cost them big. Never count out a team from the SEC until the game is over. Also, I think Bama's biggest concern against these stronger SEC defenses is our weak offensive line on the pass rush. People have been down G-Mac, especially for keying in on Hulio too much in some games and stuff instead of checking off. If you will notice, Hulio is his first choice as he should be. The main reason he has been throwing to him many times even when double or triple covered is because he is being pressured before he has time to check off. By throwing to Hulio anyway, he knows usually if Hulio can't get it, then he will make sure nobody gets it. It is not that he is not doing good, he is just facing some great SEC defenses and he is trying to adjust, but when the line does not block well enough, its hard to get the stats. Once again, TN played a great game, but Bama better start making better play calls or LSU will spank our butts.
