Pete, check out the campsite numbers 2 thru 7. They're in the center part just down from the swings. They are the most level sites and have the most room for campers, boats, tents, etc. (Plus, it's a short walk to the bath house!) We'll be there Tues. evening.

    See Ya!

Since it's getting darker earlier, we're gonna start setting up at the pavillion and getting the cookers and oil ready around 3:00 - 3:30 on Saturday. That should put us eating about 4:30 or so.

    Pray for NO RAIN!!!!

Shoot with all this global warming and droughts were going through. Not sure we will ever get a drop of rain the whole week.
Also I plan on bringing shorts for all the hot weather also.

    Looking forward to this trip.

What boat ramp is everyone planning on using? As I have only been on the lake one time. May have to follow Todd and Cane pole around all week.

My smoker died so guess the Brisket is out .:o

    Default We are coming down.

Vonna...Me and my fishing Buddy are planning on coming sometime Fri. and staying at Paris Landing Lodge. How will we hook up with other fishermen getting there in the middle of the day like that? I would love to know some sort of pattern and some places to start. I have put in at Mansard Island before. Where are most of You going to fish? We are looking foward to meeting all of You and putting faces to the names on here. The only one I have met in person is Richard Williams. We are going to bring some drinks and dessert. If You of something I could bring just let me know...
But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Hey crappiechaser, glad to have y'all come. Paul is getting some waypoints together to share with anybody who needs them. When you get ready to get on the water, call 731-618-1008 and we'll hook up with you.

The best ramp for us to use is gonna be the Port Road ramp. It's about 10 minutes from the lodge/campground. Here's how to get there. When leaving the lodge or the campground get on Hwy 79 going west toward Paris. You're gonna make a left turn on to East Antioch Rd. It will be just between the KOA campground sign and the Dollar General Store on your left. You'll go through a stop sign (The Four Way Grill will be at this intersection - good breakfast there) just stay on this road - it will curve and twist a few times - there will be a store/bait shop on your left a little ways down, they sell minnows by the pound or the dozen. When you get to the American Legion hall, slow down because Port Road is just past the hall parking lot on your left. Make a left on Port Road, you'll come to sort of a Y - just stay to the left and it will lead you to the ramp.

I think I have a waypoint for that boat ramp on my Hand Held GPS. If I do I will post the waypoint for it on here.
I have been to it one time. And I had forgotten about the bait shop and them selling minnow.s Anyone know what they get for a pound of minnows there?

Its going to be between noon and 1 pm when I get there. Everything is loaded. But forgot to pick up some meds today. So going to Wal-Mart as soon as they open and get it then straight on there.
    My Number is 731-434-8131
See everyone there. Hope to get out on the water for a few hours tomorrow evening and scan a few spots to see if I can find some fish.:D

With that 4 letter word in the air, we may have to wait til friday morning to pack. That will put us there a bit later. But hoping to have some of the truck packed thursday evening and finish friday morning.
Hope to get set up and on the water some friday. Maybe set some jugs.
