Well, it was a harsh night for fishing, but it paid off to go. Everyone in the group had a special place to try to get out of the wind. I don't think it was avoidable for most, but all caught fish and I'll let their story be told by them. As for MTHook and myself we managed to get a few. We sat up off of a point in a small cove off of the main section of a larger cove. We were out of the major wind blast come down the center of the lake. It was still whipping where we were, but it was manageable. All we had was small fish all night with a couple large ones to take the ride home with me. 14 to be exact with 2 perch. We probably caught 25 in all. But the story we heard was everyone else were doing great with numbers but not in size either. Basically, it was catch and release until you get a good one! No pictures but I did enjoy the nights action with a good friend fishing. We talked about a lot of things and solved the governments problems so Uncle Joe can sleep well and continue to say come on man tomorrow! Grady is the same as he always is, optimistic and ready to go with anything that won't kill him. Great fellow to be around. He's always got a seat on my boat anytime anywhere! Thanks, Grady, for the conversation and fishing time well spent. Hate it was under those windy conditions, but you know us we go when you can. Can't wait to get back out there for some more fun under the lights.
