one thing I do is use a four rod set up, drop green light down about five foot deep in center of set up, then place 9ft rod, 5ft rod, 9ft rod, 5ft rod in holders. Bait for nitestalk is always minnows on #6 gold hook. oh and it doesn't hurt to cross fingers
