Thread: Lake Murray

Went to Murray yesterday with the plan to catch some striper Power reeling. Ended up spending the morning catching big bass on topwater! Buying a house at Murray in August. Going to spend more time there chasing the crappie in the future.

No, decided to sell it. Actually am closing on it this thursday. Was a tough decision, but cant be everywhere at once. lol. Plan is use the Murray home as a vacation rental during the summer, and hopefully get it paid for in 15 years. Be nice to not have a payment when i retire. Closing on the new house 08/02. Guess its Murray all the time for me now!

Nice catch Kenny! I haven't been fishing in several weeks now. I hope to make a trip this coming weekend. This is a tough time of year to decide what to fish for. The bass are still biting, the striper have been on fire, and I know a few crappie haunts as well....decisions, decisions....

You are right about the Striper! They were our original target. Didnt take long to change course once i saw the first group of huge bass chasing herring!

Looks like we need to be best friends!!
