    Default Okeechobee

Weather has been great but fishing has been slower than normal. We are a couple weeks earlier this year so that may be the reason.
For the first time we hired a pro to clean our fish and it was the smartest thing we've done lately. After spending 5-7 hours on the water and driving an hour back to condo the last thing you feel like doing is cleaning fish for 3 hours.
Snap Hunter figured this out last year. We finally got smart.
Anyone know what kind of bass that is in picture? I thought it was a Warmouth at first but it is some bass other than a LM. Name: 20190326_143041_HDR.jpeg

Maybe a Rock Bass. Has it got red eyes? Glad you made it there and are catching some fish. Hope it will pick up for you. Cleaning fish and especially a lot is something I dread. I guess that's why I don't keep any as much as I use too! Keep us update on the fishing and pictures and enjoy you time there with the friends.

Still a good looking catch. That bass looks crossed with a peacock bass. Good looking fish.

Ray, Cleaning that may fish after a good day fishing is a real job. I know. I hope it's a little cooler this year than when I went. Be safe and I'll try and look for you guys as you go out on the web cam.

Looks like the fish may be slow, but some are biting. Stay after them, enjoy the trip.

We still manage about 50 per boat and the guy cleaning our fish is so much better than us. Really nice fillets. I had about 5#s of fillets yesterday for our boat.
I caught a few more of the mystery fish and I think it is a Warmouth.
