Glad y'all are having a good time, good weather and catching fish. That's a good idea to get someone else to clean fish. I believe that's a warmouth we have some in the pond. Question Ray, how do the Oscars taste? Could you compare it to another fish or not? Thanks

The fillets are white to slightly orange tint. They are very similar to bass or bream in consistency and taste. We doing a fry tonight. We are landlocked at present. Thursday morning wind gust up to 30MPH!

Gerald we hired Juan to clean our fish this year. Should have done long time ago. He does a fantastic job on the fillets. Ours never looked as good as what we ate getting from him. Runs about $8 a day per person. 30 cents a fish.

That would be well worth it, We all would have felt better at the end of the day, after all of that fishing and the rides every day. Be safe coming back, that'll be a long day.

Ray, I saw on the news today that the President is at Lake Okeechobee looking at the lake to check on the work being done on the lake. Maybe you can catch up with him and teach him how to catch Oscars.
