I like a 5'6'' ESP ultra light rod and a Presidential reel for dock shooting and brush piles. I have two of them and they are my best rods I like. The action fighting Crappie give me goose bumps they are so much fun. Just been fishing that size rod since 1985 and just use to it. I some times use my 11 foot if I need to stay away from top of brushpiles.
