Thread: From salt to fresh

Left Southport after a few days of trout fishing and went to my friends cabin for a few hint and fish days. Unfortunately the Pee Dee River is way over flood stage so we had to slosh through a swamp to hunt
This was the road into the hunt club. When we got to a cross road it looked like a river coming through. I felt fortunate we got back out.
Good news was the fishing was great. Really pretty fish from a pond fed by a tannic stained stream

Didn't see any deer or hogs but manage to step in a stump hole and fill my boot up 100 yards into a 2 mile walk looking for hogs.
