MY wife and I decided to go north of the border and look around lake Norman on Sunday. We put in at Stumpy Creek in hopes of finding some stripers or hybrids. Had some decent marks on the sonar in 55-60' with fish suspended in 35-45'. We trolled deep divers and umbrellas all morning. Found a pattern on bass trolling down ledges dropping from 20ish FOW to 30-35FOW. Caught 7 fish total. Brought 3 home for the grill. 6 bass and 1 hybrid. Water temp was around 64.
