Back out on Big Allison this morning. We did not get lines in the water till about 9. Caught about 6 crappies & a couple of perch right off the bat. Bite died about 9:30 so we put up the long lines. Moved down the river & started looking for perch. At out first stop, the perch were waiting for us. Caught a bunch on minnows. Left the biting to try down closer to the power lines. Good move. Perch biting just about as fast as we could get the minnows down. Just about ran out of minnows so we started using some cut herring. Size & bites really picked up.


Ended up with 6 crappies & about 140 perch. Finally, we got into some good size perch. Bite should get even better as the water heats up.
