Ray has x-ray sunglasses! Sounds like a very good trip. Glad you got in on them even though it's chilly in the am. Thanks, great cooler shot and lake shots! Pure enjoyment

Still good bite on worms. Have to fish on bottom. We got folks all around us got their corks pegged at 3-4 feet and no bites. Our cord are not pegged, all they do is give us an indication of a bite before they swallow the hook.
Bite will be hot for 30 minutes then die for an hour. Name: 20180501_161651_HDR-1.jpg

Ink is right they have already started to move out. However the crappie can still be caught in the shallows on that end of the lake. On the end where I fish most are already on shallow brush 10 to 15 feet of water. About 6 feet down. Great catch ray
A bad day fishing is better then a good day at work. Unless u fish for a living

Well, as the pros were saying, the fish are moving out as the spawn winds down. Each day was a bit slower than the previous.

Good news was, all the fish were quality fish, this one winning top honors at 1.6 lbs.
The store at Stumphole has been remodeled and really looks good. We had a great breakfast each morning, this one being today before we came home.
(All the pictures were oriented the same way in my file, don't know why Charlie is sideways in that one)
