    never been on wateree.anybody have any suggestions on crappie fishing there.going down this week to give it a try.any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

    Wish you luck down there. Can't help you but hope someone who knows will holler out to you. Let us know how you do on crappies and stripers !

    I have only Crappie fished Wateree a few times and I only fished Beaver Creek in the Spring when they come up in the shallows. Don't think the water is warm enough yet.

    They been on the banks from 2 weeks now. I bet some have already laid out.

    Oh yeah, a few have already laid out that was caught the other day. It got down in the 30s Monday night, shouldn't affect the the water temp enough for them to move. When you find them, there are plenty of fish to be caught on the banks.
