Thread: nice size for the amount of fish

My son Jeremy and I went out friday morning for about 5 hours. hit the little saluda spider rigging. the bite was slow but the size was great. only kept 12 crappie but they weighed in at 16.2lbs. i fileted the fish while Jeremy cleaned up the boat. we are selling our Sea Hunt BX22Pro and hope to downsize to a little smaller boat. it will fit what we like to do on lake Murray. if interested the boat is listed on craigslist in cola and charleston under sea hunt boats. also on facebook and Sea Hunt owners page. the boat is in almost new condition with low hours. bobby d 803 331-8873

I was up there breaking in a new motor so all I did was ride, but i talked to 4 different groups and only one guy had 2 fish. All were fishing in Clouds Creek out to the mouth of Little Saluda. I guess you guys were in the river itself up past the scout camp maybe?
You the first one I heard caught any Friday morning.
I didn't go up that way, rode down past Big Mans and back.
By the way, squirrel season went out before I got back up to my friends place but I'll keep you in mind for next year.
