I have found that two colored heads seem to be far superior than most others. Those colors are blue, and orange. Likewise, I have found that two colors of jigs will quickly point you in the correct direction as well. These colors are white and chartreuse, and black, blue and chartreuse. I simply alternate color combos on every other rod. I match the dark color with orange head, and the blue head with the light color. This method has worked fantastic for me for three years now, and I feel it will definitely take some of the confusion of color selection out of the equation for newbies.
New Ford Blue,and Chevy Orange are the two head colors I have settled on,blue heads and bright colors on bright days is hard to beat,Orange heads work very good to with darker bodies.BUT nothing is absolute
