Bailed on Santee, drove to Murray on Sunday morning. Met Micorps at the ramp. Great guy, if you have never met him. We talked crappie fishing for 20-30 mins before me and my girlfriend headed out on the lake. He fixed me up with a few jigs to try as well.
Headed up lake to some stained water and put out my longlining setup. I can only run 8 lines, but that is plenty for me to keep up with. We worked 8-15' with a spread of 1/16 jigs, tipped with various colors. Ended up with 6 total, after about 4 hours. However, they were all quality fish. Several other boats in the area, not catching many either. Fish were there, just didnt bite well it appeared. Hopefully somebody caught them! We had a good time anyway.

That is some quality fish that your girlfriend is holding. She is a keeper to. Micorps was staying at my house for the weekend and I really cherish the friendship we have developed over the last couple years.

Yes Tim, it seemed like they were just starting to bite! lol. I was in the area of the bridge on the left fork, in the area we discussed on that aerial photo from my phone. Never made it to the other bridge area. Hopefully this will be enough to get you in the right area. Just text or call and i can give you specifics, if you go. Planning to go to Greenwood this saturday. But i will be after bass for the next few weeks. Got a large tournament coming up down there.
