    Default Wateree 1-27-18

Finally got back down to Wateree to try for stripers & cats. Nice morning on the water. Marked a lot of bait & fish at the mouth of June creek but did not catch anything there. Moved down to colonels creek & a little below there & again marked a lot of bait & fish. At noon, we only had 2 cats in the boat. Drifting cut shad on the bottom was the ticket. Most of the cats were in 30 to 35'.

Big fish was around 25 lbs. We ended up with 13 blues & no stripers at all.
