I think the channel at Jack's Creek runs 8-10 feet depending on how far you are from the landing. The general area around there runs 4-6 feet. Inkdabber can tell you to the inch.
I can tell you that if you get out of the channel on the right side going out, there is a submerged stump every 2 feet.

I ran up on a stump in Jacks Creek one night in a Carolina Skiff and thought I'd NEVER get it off that stump. With the aligators around I wasn't about to get out of the boat either.

I assume you are speaking out on the main lake, in front of Jacks and Hickory top? On average it will range from 9' to 14'. There are some deeper waters ranging to around 18' near small feeder creeks, as well as some slightly shallower water on flats.
