    Default Edisto to Wylie

Took the wife and the dog to Edisto Saturday morning for a "grocery run". We were going to try put a couple trout and maybe a flounder or two on ice and then grab a load of oysters at low tide. Unfortunately, we had a hard time fighting with the wind and outgoing tide to do much with the fish. Grabbed a bucket full of oysters, met up with some friends for dinner on Shem Creek and came home. Woke up Sunday and put in at Nivens and ran over to Allison. Drifted for a while to no avail. Marked two stumps in 22' that appeared to be holding fish. Made three passes and brought up three crappies and two bluegills. The next five passes.....nothing. Picked up one largemouth at the end of the day. Not a bad way to kill a weekend.

Side question: Is there anywhere around Wylie that is open on Sunday that has live bait?

I thought there was a gas station on the corner of Dam road and Hwy 160 that sold live bait in Fort Mill. Other than that I only know about RH side of river. The River stop on Mt. Gallant just prior to Ebenezer Landing. Pendelton's on Hwy 274 in Clover. Sorry, I can help better than this!.

Thanks, I'm still getting used to the area, so I'll try those places.

There was a BP on the right side of Gold Hill road between 160 and Tega Cay that sells minnows.
