Striper bite at Wateree????
Headed down to Colonels Creek landing in the morning to give the stripers a try. Anyone have any info what's going on????

have not heard a word from wateree but when I'm working at my house I see a lot of what I think would be striper fishers going down
clear water cove way and most of um are late evening like maybe fishing at night

They have been biting pretty decent the last few weeks. Nicer class of fish as I expected this year due to the poor fishing this spring.

About 2 weeks ago we where upriver looking for Crappie (which we didn't find) and ran into Schooling Stripers, right past Wateree creek going up river I've fished up that way for years and never seen Schooling like that before on Wateree, good size and tasty too I might add, caught 4 and left them busting the water.
If you don't get hung every-once-n-a-while you ain't jigg'n it right..:D
