I make mine like that for about $12 each. PVC is not expensive and a wood bit is cheap.

I see all kinds of good stuff come into the recycle center that is great for sinking in the river. PVC all sizes, drainage pipes all lengths, sand filters and 55 gallon plastic drums open and closed ends and plastic trees which I think is really good to add to any pile. Don't cost a thing just muscle and time. I get drill bits also. :Rofl
