Best tip I can Give if the wind blows as it's calling for the next 2 days don't get out on the lake. Santee is unforgiving. Hopefully you get some decent weather. Good Luck!!!

Crappie fishing hasn't been great this year, but a good mess can be caught using a variety of techniques. Just be mobile. If no luck in one area, move on to the next. All the major creeks and back water areas are holding some fish. If your staying in the Jacks creek area, it's as good as any.

Watch the weather. 25 mph sustained winds and gusts up to 40. Reschedule

Most lakes are too dangerous with winds like projected but Santee makes widows. Once the storms pass don't forget the bream that can be caught there. They can be BIG!
