If they run water you can catch a few striper. Water been off most of this week. Good Luck. There will be a mob for sure.

cutbait,
thanks for the info, wondering if this rain is going to push fish back down the lake or not. last time we trolled u-rigs with success
Don
rain will only help the bite. The fish are attracted to the flow to do there faux spawn. Duke hasn't been generating much at Cedar Creek this year, so that's why the numbers haven't shown up. Fish are scattered from dam to dam now. Actually I think the lower lake is better now because they are actually pulling water from the lower dam for at least 2-3 hours a day.
Has anyone fished cedar since the storms? How is the water clarity?
fished yesterday 4/1 trolled u-rigs nada never caught a fish. started at state park marked a lot but no takers, ran up cedar creek aka parking lot full of boats trolled back down nada. The water was full of trash from the rain, ran down to the other dam water was cleaner but no takers. can you guys smell the skunk
Don
Sad part of that is you never know unless you go. You always hear you should have been there yesterday!
It will get better and you heard that too!![]()
Hope you get to go again and they'll be there for you. That's the only reason I don't like to run to Wateree, you never know!![]()
Thanks for the report. I was down there seen some people catching stripers on 3/8oz bucktails and chartreuse flukes on 1/2oz jig.
