The Hill March 5th evening

Took the boss out this evening for a few hours. He doesn't fish much so putting him on fish doesn't hurt right???

Anyways we had a great day size wise. Numbers were ok. I'm guessing about 22 or so. I'll count tomorrow when I filet. Still we didn't get out there till 315 and fished till 615.

The largest was 2 1/2. Two more were 2lbs. And 3 or 4 in the 1.5 range. Lost another nice one but most all stayed hooked up. The main brush pile we caught them on last Tuesday had fish but we only caught 2 there. Nothing's changed much as I'm still in about 15-18 ft. Fishing with minnows about 6-9 ft down over the brush. I'll include a few pictures so you can see what I'm seeing. This has been the best year so far for me as far as pre spawn fish. Most years I don't start catching them until after the spawn. Some of these pictures the depth is off as the unit thinks the top of the brush is the bottom.Good luck to those going this upcoming week.
